Good Book News…

This week has been a very happy one for me, with Breathe being one of Autostraddle’s Best Queer Books of 2019, and Alias scooping not only Best Thriller/Mystery at this year’s Rainbow Awards, but best Lesbian Book as well.

Sometimes, I get so knackered, I need a good kick up the arse to keep writing. This was three good kicks in one πŸ™‚

Hope you never get so knackered you give up writing. I’ve never read or listened to ANY author’s work as much as yours. Your characters are like old friends and it never, ever matters that I know the stories.
Thank you for fighting fatigue and continuing to write such gripping stories. Maybe a brew might help? πŸ˜‰

Never mind a brew (though I have just had one!) feedback like this certainly helps πŸ™‚ It’s always a thrill to win stuff or be shortlisted for stuff, but getting enthusiastic reviews or comments is my absolute favourite thing.

I really loved Breathe. It was a real Laugh Out Loud story and it showed you how stupid the general public can be and the way they can send our paramedics on non- essential journeys
