Tumbledown Giveaway!

Oooh, look what the postie delivered!

Tumbledown author copies

They’re so pretty and shiny, and I have two to give away – signed or unsigned, winners decide. To get your mitts on one of these lovelies, just say hello in the comments on this thread or, for the shy amongst you, head over here to my page on Facebook and hit “like.” Extra bonus points for those who use their comment to swear in fluent English.

Closing date for entries is Thursday 30th January, at noon GMT.Β After that, I’ll put all the names into an egg cup or a bucket (depends how many there are!) and draw the winners.

Good luck πŸ™‚

I could do with cheering up today, a whole morning wasted. May the fatherless sons of female
canines who fail to recognise how a text in time would make a huge difference, understand the message I give them when I see them again. [signed would be good πŸ™‚ ]

  2. Hi Cari,
Amazing cover and I’m sure it’s an amazing story, but there’s only one way to find out. Pick me!!
Thanks for the chance to win.

    • Cari Hunter says:

The cover is gorgeous (even better in real life!) I’m totally biased about the story, so I can’t really comment on that. Thanks for saying hi, I’ve added you to the hat.

Now I would be chuffed to pieces if you picked me. I’m willing to use bribes- how about an endless supply of Kendal Mint Cake? Or a cat sitter? Or…erm, mmm I can’t think of anything else.
    Have a think about it.
    LOL.
    Ta- thanks Cari

    • Cari Hunter says:

Oh you’ve got some excellent Brit going on there, Shaw! Anyone would think you lived just up t’road!
PS – Boo reckons you’re probably nuts enough to look after him πŸ˜‰

      • Sarah Shaw says:

Am I allowed to be to be included in this Ms Hunter? It’s not just for the US peeps is it 😦 ? I’m not on FB anymore so I don’t get to see all your updates.

    great cover

    • Cari Hunter says:

It’s beautiful, isn’t it? I don’t think the photo does it justice (I tried all day to get a decent bloody pic, but it reflects the light something awful.) It’s absolutely perfect for the book.

  17. Tanya Cortese says:

  26. Sandi says:

  28. Claire says:

Bollocks to the rest of these entrants, I’m gonna win the bloody book! I’m gonna have to re-read Desolation Point while I’m at it because I can’t remember if you killed off that wanker that was chasing them!…. Joking aside, I have thoroughly enjoyed both of your books and look forward to reading the next one… and the next, and the next, and the next. πŸ™‚

    • Cari Hunter says:

++ points for excellent usage of “bollocks” and “wanker” Claire. That’s what I like to see! Y’know, I don’t think I’ve ever used “wanker” in one of my books. Hmmm, must try harder. Have fun with the reread and many thanks for dropping by to swear with such skill and impunity.

  29. Anya Shindler says:

I would love a copy. Having just finished a double degree at university if is such a relief to be able to read the books I want to read for once. And I would love to be the lucky person to be chosen to receive a copy of your novel. Either way thank you for writing this and I wish all of the other beautiful ladies who entered luck.

    • Cari Hunter says:

Oh, I know that feeling, Anya. I studied film & literature for my degree, and came out longing to watch television and read anything but the stuff they’d forced upon us. I was quite the useless literature student. Have fun with reading to your heart’s desire, and good luck in the draw.

  30. amy barr says:

Looking forward to this book, please throw my name in that drawing.

Hey nice one! I’m up for one for sure πŸ˜‰ 0. Have a great day

    • Cari Hunter says:

It’s tea time here, so I’m up to my eyes cooking steak pud and chips πŸ™‚ It was quite a nice day though – writing and generally mucking around. Thanks for stopping by and your name, of course, is in the draw.

  33. Devlyn says:

How exciting, that means I will have mine in my hot little hands very soon.

  34. Barbara G. from Tucson, AZ says:

I’d like to be entered to win, please … and look forward to “seeing” Sarah and Alex again …I’m nervous, I hope they don’t get too beat-up …

  35. Jo says:

    Please count me in

  36. RJ says:

From the frozen Midwest of the U.S., your cover looks so enticing!!! Please count me in.

    • Cari Hunter says:

I love my cover. It took a couple of rounds to get it right, but it turned out just gorgeous. Sheri did a fabulous job. Stay warm out there, and thanks for dropping by πŸ™‚

  37. Angela says:

Bloody hell and help ma boab! An awful lot of entrants here, hope I get lucky πŸ™‚

    • Cari Hunter says:

It has been quite lively – on here and over on Facebook. That egg cup flowed into a bucket and it’s now looking like I might need a wheel barrow πŸ™‚ Which is very nice indeed. I have added your name to said wheel barrow, and wish you the best of luck. Thanks for stopping by.

  38. Cindy Grantham says:

Please enter in your drawing for Tumbledown. I really enjoyed both Desolation Point and Snowbound and I’m looking forward to your lasted book!

  39. denee says:

It is so lovely that you respond back to your entrants! What a great sense of humor you have!! Not sure what a “wanker” is but it rhymes nicely with “spanker” and might be a funny concept for your next book!!! LOL!!! Keep writing your winners, Cari…:-) πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚

    • Cari Hunter says:

Hey denee – I always try to reply to folks, I think I just like chatting (probably a side effect of the day job!) Um, I’ll leave you to google “wanker,” it’s not terribly polite and I don’t want to make you blush – although it’s used as quite a mild form of rebuke over here (almost affectionate, some might say!) I have added your name to the ever-expanding list, and I wish you good luck in the draw. Thanks for getting in touch πŸ™‚

  40. Sunny says:

Hey there! I finally made my way over to ask you to please add my name to the Tumbledrawing. πŸ™‚

  41. Kora says:

Well, this looks brilliant! Toss me down, too. I would love to get a glorious copy of one of those books. I am writing this from work and feel NO REMORSE! I would swear in fluent English but I live a bit far abroad and my general English has become quite rusty. I could teach you to cuss out salarymen at a bar in Japanese – Ha, I am sure that has to count for something! πŸ˜€

    • Cari Hunter says:

That DEFINITELY counts for something! As does mucking around on WordPress whilst at work – big bonus points for both. You sneaked in just under the deadline and your name is duly added to the bucket. Good luck and thanks for stopping by πŸ™‚
